RUDE!!!!!

OK, So I've been away for a while... Did you miss me?

Let's face it anyone that knows me will tell you that I can be out spoken, abrasive, maybe even bitchy... but I don't ever think I've been rude. If I have it was unintentional....

OK so here are my new thoughts and aggravations. RUDENESS!? Is it in inherited, learned, thought of as a right? What is with people these days?

I started thinking about this on the way to work this morning. You have those mornings where traffic is horrid, it's raining, people trying to get to work, talking on phones, cutting each other off...AAAUUUURRRRGGGHHHHH! I know it's frustrating but why must people be rude? Ok maybe when it comes to driving I suppose everyone is frustrated.... So I suppose I'll leave that one alone (for now).:)

What happened to Yes Sir, No Sir, Yes Ma'am, No Ma'am???? Heck what happened to Sir or Ma'am all together? Is it just 'cool' to say anymore??? Are parents just not teaching their children to say it anymore? I was taught to say it. Ok and people people I don't care HOW OLD YOU ARE it's not about age, if I say Sir or Ma'am it's a respect thing and not a respect your elder thing. I answer my phone when my boss calls, his boss calls or my cube mate calls... Yes Sir or Yes Ma'am and I say it with a smile!
Excuse me? That's right Excuse me.... know how to say it? Then say it? I say it to my dogs even when I run into them Soooo of course I will to a complete stranger also! People look at you strangely at the 'neighborhood' grocery store because you try to get by them and they have their cart SIDEWAYS (for goodness sake). I say excuse me and you would think I spit on them? Forbid I say Excuse me Ma'am :) I'd probably die a fiery death for that! Come around the corner and nearly run someone over.. OH Sorry Excuse me! and all I get it a "yea".... YEA? what does that mean? oh well... Isn't being in a bar a social thing? Shouldn't you behave socially? No excuse me, pardon me, sorry about that NOTHING? If you run into me I'm not saying you Owe me anything but have some courtesy for goodness sake!!! No wonder other countries hate us, not cause we are just thought of as Big Brother but we are egotistical and rude! I saw on the net today one of the big articles was "Are New York people really rude? and other travel myths" ~~~ NO we all are apparently. I'm tired of it, it's completely silly.

OH and why do people insist on interrupting each other? Or just plain out and out not listening. You know if you don't want to hear what I have to say then why are you even in a conversation with me?
I don't care if we don't hang out, go to lunch, speak in the hall or hang with the same people... do me a favor and don't pretend to NOT be rude by occasionally listening and not hear me, talk over me, don't say excuse me or I'm sorry..... and by the way... That is Ms. Mustang Sally to you!

Seriously folks.... Racism

Ok there has been a huge lack of judgement from political people lately.. but what's new?


Holder... we are cowards for not being able to talk about racism in this country. WHAT???? if you are having to talk about race aren't you racist? If you have to talk about it cause you relly think there is a huge difference between people because of color ~~~ isn't that almost the definition of racism?


Even starting that thought with calling us a nation of cowards.. NICE JOB!!! Like that's not going to cause an upstir of emotions with people in general? You walk into a room and call a group of people cowards and see what happens? SERIOUSLY!!!!


Holder tells reporters ""If we're going to ever make progress, we're going to have to have the guts, we have to have the determination, to be honest with each other. It also means we have to be able to accept criticism where that is justified." ................. NEAT!!!! OK WTF does that mean exactly, who is going to make that determination of what is Justified or not? Do we need to go in front of a judge, a panel, call "The View".... let me know Mr. Attorney General so that when I see a disruption that arises from a 'converstion about differences' I can tell them where to go and ask if they questions/comments/converstation is justified.

Now there is a HUGE uproar of people saying it was plain racism toward Pres. Obama...... EXCUSE ME?????????? I have a question for you people... Did Barack WRITE the bill? NO... Is there a sign on the chimp indicating that it's is suppose to be the President.


The cartoon was based on the former day's news story of the woman being malled by her 'pet' chimp and the police having to shoot the chimp to stop it's rampage.


Ok no the cartoon probably wasn't in the best taste on any level... but racist????? Aren't we reaching here.... That's like reaching for the race card on "isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?"..... or even more along the lines of what we are talking about.... "my job is so easy a chimp could do it"


If we are a nation of cowards and racist then HOW did we get a Black President, how did Holder become the Attorney General.... and lastly....

Ok maybe I missed my mark on my 1st blog.

I think my first blog ever might not have conveyed what my real thoughts were.
I had to have a jumping out point... it happened to land on the media and ARod. It's not really about ARod and his stupidity it's about the nonsense and ridiculousness of the media storm that surrounded the situation.

I suppose my real point was that with everything wrong in the world why are we worried about if someone took steroids or not? I mean seriously? If you really do care, good for you, but if you waste a whole day and converstation and brain power on such meger issues as this, I AM truely sad for you.

I've started this blog to get my thoughts out there and I suppose to get my thoughts together. I've always felt that I was here to do more... to help more... to accomplish more for the human race as a whole. But with the infiltration of meaningless mindnumbing thoughts that are thrown at us makes us (ok at least me) pull away from the reality of what we 'should' do.....
Does it really come down to WWJD???? Maybe so. What would he do, what should I do?
So that is why I say if you have a complaint maybe you should also have a lead on a solution for our issues/problems.
My leaning toward my solutions and what I can do for others, our country, our world and I have to actually verbalize my thoughts my feelings my passions.... That way maybe that light bulb really will turn on of what I'm really supposed to accomplish here.
How do I help the sick, hungry, poor.... Squash the insanity of the arrogance of the ME ME ME factor.

Ok so we all come home and complain about work, friends, traffic etc. But in the grand scheme of things WHAT IS REALLY WRONG.
I have a tendency to ramble and bitch about stuff all the time... and let's face it my hubby is tired of hearing it. BUT I know there are others out there that feel the same way. SO this is my outlet, my WHY?????? blog if you will.

Let's talk about stupidity in the world, politics, the morons that invented the high 5s in Dallas, over paid athletes..... HEY I don't want to hear about your paper cut. AND I think if we are going to bitch then let's have a solution too :) how's that for a novel idea.....

Sooooo here I am on the first day of my first blog..... where should we start?
I KNOW.... A-Rod..... Do we really freaking care that he did roids when he was here in TX because he "felt the pressure"????? REALLY???? That is news?
WHO CARES?
HE plays a game for a living? Do you think they are going to make him stop 'playing' a game? Are they going to keep him out of the Hall of Fame like they did some of the real greats, Shoeless Joe, Pete Rose????
How about this for pressure let's just use his paycheck for the time he used roids for our "stimulus package" LOLOLOLOLOL (that's a whole other issue)
So let's take his salary from those years and put it towards drug awareness. More awareness of drug abuse and more treatment facilities for those that have already gotten caught up in the horrid world of drugs. HOW ABOUT THAT? Our treatment centers for those that aren't 'stars' need improvement and help! Need better facilities and faculty.....
AND THE MEDIA ON THIS.... seriously??? This is major national news???? At least they are up A-Rods but and not televising our next military move in other countries... (dammit save that for another time also)
